An artistic interlude in the heart of the Vosges forest
In October, art comes once again to the Domaine du Hirtz in Wattwiller, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park.
From 6 October to 1 November 2026, the Domaine du HIRTZ in Wattwiller is hosting the exhibition “Alsace in the Light of the Seasons” by Martine Hentschel, presented in the Stammtisch room.
Through her works, the artist shares her vision of the Alsatian landscapes and the forest, enhanced by the colours, light and atmospheres of each season.
This exhibition offers an artistic interlude in the heart of nature and a new way to discover the full richness of the landscapes around us.
The exhibition is open to all, free of charge, throughout its run.
A word from the artist
As a certified watercolourist, my work focuses on the sensitivity, poetry and spontaneity that are unique to this technique.
My figurative watercolours are inspired by the atmospheres of the changing seasons and of events: nature, scenes of life, objects, etc., with a constant search for movement, transparency and emotion
